Absolutely beautiful and wonderful place! I had my children with me, so I could not go into the bar. However, a Waiter and the chef still served us food at the restaurant next-door! The food at Myrtle Rose was amazing! I most definitely recommend them!
This place attempts a "fine dining" experience, but falls flat. The waiter told us he would bring bread out, and our kids asked for it at least 4 times. Near the end of our meal, he told us it was still rising. The temperature was off on every item we ordered...shrimp appetizer was rubbery and lukewarm, entree sides were cold (although dishes were hot) and the peach cobbler was also cold. Very disappointing.
Just left the worst meal in my life. The chicken was salty and the steak was under seasoned. Presentation was the same as the food. We fell for a too good to be true scam- buy 1 get one, but then added 20% gratuity for a 2 person check without asking. Our server was pretty good but the food set a new standard for Park City restaurants (not in a good way).
Nice place. Low key. Good place to chill with friends.
Over priced. Food was just ok, but not worth the cost. Food took long to get and it wasnt busy at all. My husband's lasagna wasn't very warm. We will not be going back. However, our server was friendly and attentive. Didn't catch his name though.
Food was tasty and service was great!
Yummy and great service!!!! I had the wedge salad....DELICIOUS and create your own pasta with raviolis sundried tomatoes red basil cream sauce mushrooms and artichokes. I was very pleased
A really nice place to eat. Comfy seating and low music make it a very pleasant atmosphere. I had the farmer burger and it was fantastic. They had a two for one meal thing going so it was not expensive for us at all ymmv.
Good food. Just a few steps away from the incredible Newpark Resort and Hotel Loved the filet mignon.
The food was excellent! Big, bold flavors that build in your mouth. Great use of herbs and spices. I will definitely return!
Awesome bar next to Maxwells. Has the full menu no kids. Quiet and more romantic. Also very comfortable seating and dining compared to Maxwells (Maxwells is my family's favorite). Mytrle Rose is where I go on dates 😊
Great Service nice relaxing restaurant.
The fried onions were the best I've ever had!
In house made desserts and delicious steak and comfort food. Super yummy!
Great
2 for 1 only thing that makes it worth it. Make better menu. Blah blah menu.
Great steaks and service.
Save your money. Service was lousy and food was mediocre. Our waiter acted strung out and had no personal or serving skills. Advertising of entree buy 1 get 1 free but did not deliver. Just nope all around. I wanted to like this place and go often but they lost a group of what could have been great future customers.
Service was very very slow and steaks were overcooked
Great food and service
A solid 4 stars. Menu is mostly steaks with a few fish choices and "comfort" food like meat loaf and chicken. Sides like creamed spinach and corn mashed potatoes where excellent and enough to feed 3-4 for each side. Attached to Maxwell's pizza, sharing an entrance but different staff and menu. Full bar with a couple of TV's, comfortable table seating with booths and tables. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Great pizza, some of the best around. Great atmosphere too.
Honestly doubted that this place was going to be any good as it was new but it surpassed my expectations. The calamari was the best I've ever had and the steaks were done just right. Super cool vibes here as well, we will definitely be back!
We both got the trout and it was very good. Waiter and bar tender knew their stuff and were very helpful and friendly.
Went to the bar with a group of people to get drinks. It took over 30 minutes for me and my husband to get our two drinks alone while everyone else just sat and waited. For a let's get drinks and chat type of night, not having drinks was a buzzkill. The drinks were made terrible when they did come out. The bartender had an attitude and was not friendly at all. We get if you are understaffed and overwhelmed but you don't have to be a grinch about it. I don't reccomend this place for drinks at the bar
Awesome!
Food is good, service is normally good , although last visit we were in on a Sunday night, and the waitress was more interested in flirting with the bartender next door , than she was in helping our large party.
I do NOT recommend this place. When we walked into Myrtle Rose/Maxwell's for dinner there were three people standing at the front desk and all three of them were on their cell phones. We had to get their attention in order to be seated. Then they sat us and we waited for 15-20 mins. No one ever came to our table to take our order. I asked the bartender if we were supposed to order at the bar but he said no. The couple next to us ended up leaving because they had also been waiting for 20+ mins for someone to come to their table. We waited a couple of minutes after that, but then decided to leave. As we were leaving the same three people were on their phones and none of them inquired why we were leaving. I would rather eat McDonalds than ever go back to this place.
Excellent
Nice atmosphere but service is dysfunctional and drinks takes far too long. One hot drink took 20 minutes and arrived completely cold. I was watching the bar the whole time. Things in wrong places yet somehow so many drinks just waiting. Hire more service, and reorganize bar.
The rib eye with bearnaise and mashed potatoes were excellent! Peach cobbler for dessert was the perfect finish. Comfortable atmosphere. Joel took great care of us. Highly recommend.
Really great food. Comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I stumbled on this little gem...awesome bacon wrapped shrimp in a jalapeño honey sauce, top shelf liquor, great service and ambience...don't miss this one...I'm selective and this one I'll return again...and again.
Such a lovely restaurant with great customer service. Thank you very much for all the yummy food! Look forward to visiting again.
Have no idea what some of these people are talking about. I had the most incredible meal and service I have ever had. The fried chicken and cheese roll with sauce was to die for. The calamari was a little tough. I told the waiter and the owner immediately came out and offered to cook us another order. The flavor was top notch. I have eaten at almost every dinner establishment in Park City and I will go back to Myrtle Rose every time I go to Park City. Awesome place!!!
Excellent service and food
I enjoyed this place. We were going to go to Maxwell's for a drink and pizza and were pleasantly suprise that we could go into the Mrytle Rose side and enjoy the same food and have a more adult atmosphere!
Just paid $100 for food that's worse than sizzler !!! Never again !!
Great place to grab some incredible steak, seafood, comfort food, etc! They are offering 2 for 1 entrees til end of summer. Do it!
Used to be good. Poor management now. Avoid this place.
The worst fish I have ever eaten. Just paid 110.00 for something I took one bite out of. My husband only ate half of his food. We left and went somewhere edible. Very disappointed, we drove from out of town for a romantic date night. Should of stayed in salt lake.
We beat the dinner rush so that was nice. The restaurant was clean and quiet. Our server kept out drinks full all night. The seats were SO SOFT!!! My butt was happy. The food was amazing. Some of the best Italian I've had. I was planning on spending a chunk of change and the bill ended up being smaller than I anticipated. You will not be disappointed if you eat here!
We went to this place at 6 PM on a Wednesday and they literally didn't have most of the food on the menu. After altering our orders for the third time due to the lack of food, we finally got our entrees. The food was were dry, tasteless and very expensive for what it was. Maxwell's is great, skip this place.
It's ok. Food decent, but pricey. I had the Utah Trout $30 and my friend had the stuffed chicken $23, which didn't have much stuffing. I enjoyed the fish, but thought it was pricey for coming with no sides. We ordered the brussel sprouts for a side $9. Even with their summer special at buy one entree get one free, it worked out at $78 ($39 each), with one glass of wine each and no apps or dessert, once the compulsory 20% gratuity added. Service just ok. The waitress was busy the evening we were there and it took a while to get drinks, then bread, then side plates and cutlery so we could eat the bread, and then the side came when we'd nearly finished our entree. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. It was an okay experience. But for the price I'd probably go elsewhere.
Best steak in Park City. Amazing staff - very friendly. Get the baseball steak!
Great food, reasonable prices especially by Park City standards and the staff was attentive .
For being in Park City I definitely expected better food was okay but not for the price I paid service was so so frankly I drove clear up there because the last time was awesome but this time I won't be coming back
Comfortable atmosphere, good food!
I had a large reservation - party of 14. We are all based in south salt lake county and some in Utah county. We all arrive as planned just to be told they closed for the day due to slow business. Excuse me? Where was our notification? Why didn’t you just send most staff home? You expect any other restaurant in park city to have availability for a party of 14? Definitely not okay, terrible ethics. After reading the full reviews of this place I’m not surprised.
Best steaks and trout in Park City / Deer Valley area. Absolutely fantastic steaks.
